Erin Mills Soccer Club

This is my first google review for any service/product. I normally do not publicly criticize any establishment, but I felt compelled to warn parents who are considering enrolling their kids into Erin Mills Soccer Club.We registered our son into U8 program. Our goal was to expose him to fundamentals of the game. The bar was set very low from the start. We paid in full (indoor and outdoor season) in good faith, ordered uniforms etc.As a former soccer player, it became clear that club was doing bare minimum to engage and educate the kids. Even after months of training, every session felt like a Day 1 as they would introduce 5-6 new players into the line-up each week (due to heavy marketing campaign). As a result, existing roster were confused by this perpetual “Day 1” message.Instead of criticizing the Club on their development methodologies, constant coaching changes, lack of communication to parents, lack of plans etc., we decided to seek additional help for our son.2-3 months later we received a message from “Competitive Coordinator” whom we never met or talked to requesting that: “you need to withdraw from our program”. After few emails back and forth on the reasons (which were never part of fine print), he provided us with the withdraw form including refund request link. We followed the instructions as asked by the Competitive Coordinator and did not participate in the last few games of the indoor/winter season.After months of waiting for the refund, we reached out to the Club. Their message:“…there are no refund provided for players that withdraw from the program”.Clearly, we were asked to leave the Club (‘kicked out’) before mid point. We talked to other parents who were part of the club and were shocked by their stories. It is just incredible how far club would go. All this while claiming to be “non-profit community-based organization”. As a result of our experience and what we have witnessed, we would not recommend this Soccer Club to anyone. There are numerous clubs in the area where your little ones can prosper. If you want to gamble with your money, there is a Casino for that.I am Jas, a real parent. Just like all other parents who commented but which Club apparently does “not recognize” or falsely claim to have ‘voluntarily’ left the program. Erin Mills Soccer Club has a long history of being a welcoming club in our community and I’m really happy I chose them for my young son who loves to play soccer. He’s developed skills in a short amount of time and has a lot of fun. The professional coaches are very kind, patient, skilled and treat every child with fairness and encouragement to develop their own skills. It’s a great place to connect with other parents and for your child to make friends. I can’t recommend them enough!

My 2 sons play here. We have been part of this club for 3 years now. Both my sons started with recreational and then moved up to the competitive teams. Both their coached are amazing (Nelson and Mo). Their new grass roots manager (Henry) is also phenomenal. The parents have formed a bond and this has become a family / community for us with everyone helping out with rides etc. Love this club.

We love EMSC! Our son has learned a lot here and has really developed his skills for the sport. Any time we had any issues we addressed them with the internal staff, who were responsive, kind and extremely accommodating. We're so happy with this club and hope to be a part of it for the years to come.

Amazing place I've been playing there for almost a year now. Very accommodating and friendly staff.

Have had my boys in a few clubs in the past, we made a move 2 years ago to Erin Mills Soccer club and am so happy we did.They have a great staff that have time and patience to really help with development skills. Coaches are honestly a delight and it’s a great well kept facility. Past few years have been tough, but glad that the kids can get back to it and we’re very appreciative what the clubs been doing. Thanks everyone at EMSC keep up the great work.

I put my son in this year summer recreational soccer program. They changed my son group after two classes because of excess number of students. The new group assigned had no coach and incomplete team. Kids didn’t learn or enjoyed a bit. Informed their program coordinator that Iwould like to talk to someone senior in management, they always took my # but never called back. Waste of money and I will advise not to go there. There are far better clubs in Mississauga.

This will be the second year my boys(5 & 7 years old) attend. They love it and have learned so much!! Keep it up guys!!

EMSC is a wonderful establishment. Wouldn’t go anywhere else when we need a place to make us feel welcome, safe and open to being our very best. Keep up the great work over there. Thanks Julian for helping our boys learn and become better each time they connect with you.
